BREAKING NEWS: Titan Trade Zdrahal & Beauchemin to Océanic (Updated)

On Monday, November 4, 2013 the Acadie-Bathurst Titan and the Rimouski Océanic completed a trade that saw the following players change teams:

Dominic Beauchemin (20) – LW, 6’2″, 200 lbs., 17GP, 5G, 6A, 10PiM, -1
Patrik Zdrahal (18) – RW, 6’0″, 180 lbs., 18GP, 5G, 7A, 10PiM, -4

Scott Oke (20) – LW, 6’3″, 204 lbs., 20GP, 6G, 6A, 27PiM, -1
Charles-Anthony Poulin (16) – 6’0″, 182 lb., 16GP, 3G, 8A, 44PiM (with Magog Cantonniers of QMAAAHL)
4th Round Pick in 2014 QMJHL Draft

Oke brings championship-level experience to the Titan and was an integral part of the Saint John Sea Dogs’ prolific run atop the QMJHL that saw them reach the finals three straight years, winning twice and winning the CHL Memorial Cup once. Poulin was a second-round draft pick in the 2013 QMJHL Draft and will likely make the jump to the QMJHL next season provided he does well with Magog.

Zdrahal has been with the team since last season after being drafted in the first round of the CHL European Draft and has 25 goals and 34 assists to his credit over 82 games played. Dominic Beauchemin joined the Titan this year after being traded from the Halifax Mooseheads where he played his first full season after spending two years toiling in the Québec Remparts’ system. Over 84 games played, he’s scored 19 goals and assisted on 26 others. During the 2013 QMJHL Playoffs Beauchemin had 1 goal and 1 assist in 16 games played.

TITAN NATION would like to wish Dominic and Patrik all the best with the Océanic and thank them for their time representing the Titan. We’d also like to welcome Scott and Charles-Anthony to the Titan Family.
